I just had to give you an update. I live in Massachusetts with the nicest Dad and Mom. I get so much love and attention that now it's hard to remember what my life was like back in Texas. I went from death row at the shelter, to Muttley Farms and just a short time later I was adopted by two wonderful people. You can see by my photos I'm a little on the spoiled side. Since I've been here, Mom enrolled me in classes to become a therapy dog. So now I'm a certified therapy dog. Pretty cool, huh? Not to brag, but I nailed it. Mom was so proud of me and that makes me even happier. I've heard some of my brothers and sisters from Muttley Farms have been adopted too, so I just hope they have it as good as I do.
I smile because I'm happy because my forever family was found. I've been at Muttley Farms for a couple of years and absolutely nobody appreciated my smile or how I can spin until now. I've been Mommy's Gino Bambino, as she likes to call me, and I know we are going to miss each other, but we just couldn't turn down this wonderful home. Mommy cried when she told me about everything and I just listened. My new parents have promised to love and take care of me forever and they think I'm special. I know I didn't fall into one of those cute little dogs categories or a large guard dog but come on. Isn't my smile worth something? Mommy spotted me in the shelter a long time ago and we had an instant connection. My previous human just didn't want to be bothered with me anymore so there I sat quietly. Mommy knew I needed to be saved and boy am I glad she did. She thinks I'm adorable on the inside as well as the outside and so do my new parents. My future is bright!
My Mommy from Muttley Farms wanted me to give you an update on how I'm doing. My name used to be Bugsy, but now it is Buddy. Mom said everyone would remember me but I wasn't so sure. I'm the little guy that was chained up outside for over a year with very little shelter plus I had a hurt leg. I won't go into details because you can just look back on my earlier posts since I was so popular. My leg is getting better and stronger every day so now I can run and play with my new fur sister. The nice family that adopted me says I'm very affectionate and love all people and animals. You see I just needed a chance instead of being chained up my whole life. My new Mommy is very nice and makes sure I'm safe and happy. With the weather like it is I sure am glad I'm inside this year. Anyway enough about me. You can see I'm healthy, happy and very loved and thats what I hope the New Year brings for you. And don't forget there are plenty of others at Muttley Farms just like me waiting for their special someone. Is that you?
What is faith, we asked! Well we believed what our Mommy from Muttley Farms said so I guess that's faith. A very nice person came to visit and we officially became part of her family. She fell in love with us instantly and she allowed us to come to her on our terms. We were a little reluctant at first and just hung out with Mommy but the longer she was there the more comfortable we became. She's promised that we will always be together and we will also be going to work with her every day. Mommy from Muttley Farms told us our new Mom is very special and we know how blessed we are. We will never forget our parents that passed because they loved us very much but we have faith in knowing our new Mom will also.
We are beyond happy in our new home. We sleep with Mom and she takes us everywhere. We are trying very hard to be good and it must be working because she says we're perfect. We each have our own new beds but we prefer to share because we're that close. We know how fortunate we are that we got to stay together too. Thank you everyone for following and sharing our story. Our time at Muttley Farms was brief but we sure hope you'll consider visiting them to see if your new baby is there just like we were. |
