![]() Our sweet girl is no longer with us. She had been losing weight so we had been feeding her special meals. Finally at the age of 17 life just became too challenging. We were Blessed to have her for 2 years after her previous humans dumped her in the shelter because they didn’t want to deal with an old dog. Well we can honestly say that we got the best years of her life. She was so well mannered and always eager to please. There’s a huge whole in all our hearts at Muttley Farms and her presence is going to be missed. With so many of our long time rescues being adopted and the loss of Brandi we are all heavy hearted. Naturally we want the best for each of them but it seems they are all leaving so fast now. We know we are Blessed but the emptiness is still there. If there’s a message in this post it’s that senior dogs have so much to offer. Please don’t pass up a new family member because of age.
