I was still in North Carolina when this photo was taken. My new parents took me there to introduce me and visit relatives but wanted you to see my outfit. I was dressed and ready for Santa and didn’t mind a bit. I think I’m totally rocking this and I appreciated the clothes since it’s colder there. You can see by the second photo that I’m very relaxed and that life is good for me. Just thought you’d like to see how I’m doing. If you see Blondie give her a hug for me and tell her I’ll see her soon. My new Dad and Mom promised and they always keep their word. They are the absolute best!
Mommy said people are still asking how I’m doing and you need to know I couldn’t be happier. I sleep with my humans every night and constantly go in the car with them. If Mom has to run and errand and I want to go then Dad rides along and waits in the car with me. They just don’t have the heart to tell me no. I’m spoiled beyond belief and I’ve even learned to play with toys. I’m never left alone and I’m no longer afraid of everyone. I’ve learned that most humans are good even though I started my life with really bad ones. So don’t worry about me because I’ve got the best home and I know I’ll always be loved and protected.
Is this a happy look or what? Guess who got an early Christmas gift? That’s right it’s me! I’m on my way as you’re reading this. It didn’t come without a price though so let me tell you what happened. I had to go to the vet to get a health certificate and that’s where the drama comes in. Mommy asked Aunt Katie to help because she had a feeling I’d be a little difficult to handle on her own. Mommy pulled her SUV out and she and Aunt Katie got me loaded in the back with my harness on. Aunt Katie went around to get in the passenger side and I decided to bolt. Mommy grabbed my harness in mid air and down she went. You see I’ve gained almost 10 pounds since I’ve been at Muttley Farms so I’m not exactly small. I felt really bad for Mommy because there was blood and everything. Aunt Katie rushed to help but Mommies a little banged up right now. We made it to the vets office and I got everything I need but there was no burger on the way home. She was in a little too much pain to be doling out treats and I totally understand that. I got a biscuit when we got home but I’m so excited about my next chapter in life. I’ll be living in Chicago and have my own humans to love and protect. Merry Christmas to everyone!
Is this the picture of a happy dog or what? Well this is my new Mom. She came to visit me and I could tell right away she was special. I’ve been so sad but now my future looks like it’s going to be happy. I’ll have a fur brother to play with and I won’t be left outside. This is the miracle I’ve be hoping for and now I have it because so many people shared my story. I’ll miss Muttley Farms but this is way more exciting. I plan on being the best boy ever and will protect my new Mom. I’m sure you’ll be hearing from me again but if I don’t before Thanksgiving I hope yours is as Blessed as mine will be.
I’m here safe and sound in Massachusetts. My journey wasn’t without drama though let me tell you. I was supposed to arrive on Saturday at noon but things just kept happening which delayed my arrival. Daddy and Mommy from Muttley Farms were beside themselves because it wasn’t in their control. My new Dad and Mom just waited by their phones for the pick up place. Between you and me I think Mommy may have turned to alcohol on my adoption because it was just that stressful on everyone.
But enough about that. Everyone always says Mommy finds the perfect family for each of us and boy am I a believer. My new parents are so nice and gentle with me. They think I’m smart, beautiful and very loving so you can see how intelligent they are! Lol I’ve only been here since 11:30 pm Sunday night so I don’t have a lot to say but I wanted everyone to know I’m safe. Thank you to everyone that kept checking on me and don’t forget to help find Vincent a home. This forever family thing is awesome! They call me another success story because I have my own humans now. I even have real toys so I don’t have to carry around a brick to keep me company. I’m being treated for my heart worms so before long I’ll be good as new. I sure appreciate everyone taking an interest in me and sharing my story. I wish their were more nice people like you in the world which means their would be less animals like me needing help. Each time you share with a message it does make a difference. Thank you so much!
No need to worry about me cuz I’ve been adopted. I’m on my way to the vet this morning to have the works and then going to my new home. It’s funny to me how such a simple girl like me caught everyone’s attention and yet Vincent has nobody interested in him. A point to ponder for sure.
My new Dad and Mom are great and exactly what I need. I also have a fur brother and he’s got lots of energy so lots of fun times in our future. I sure appreciate everyone sharing my story and hope you’ll help Vincent find his forever home. I’d love to see all my friends as happy as I am. Who’s a happy boy? Can you tell I’m smiling? This is my new Dad, Mom and sister. I felt loved the minute I walked into their house. You can see in the one photo where their looking down at me in my bed that I’ve already gotten a little piece of their heart. I even got in Dad's lap so he and I could have a heart to heart. They’ve promised to always love and take care of me. I’m not going to be crated and Dad plans on taking me places with him and he knows not to leave me in a vehicle. I’m a lucky fella is what I am. No more crying for me, unless it’s for attention
Remember when I said I was popular? Well I’ve been adopted. Mommy found such a great home for me. My new family consists of not only a Dad & Mom but also 2 human sisters and 2 fur Basenji brothers. When Mommy visited their home she was so impressed with my new sisters. The oldest one had been doing research on my breed and shared what she discovered. Considering she’s only 10 you gotta say that’s special. My younger sister is also very gentle with my fur brothers so that helped Mommy make her decision. They also said they had prayed that I got a great home even if they weren’t chosen. They are special people and I plan on being the best girl ever. Thank you everyone for taking such an interest in me. I promise to send updates if you want to know how I’m doing.
Well tomorrow is my big day. All my paperwork is done including my health certificate. Plus Mommy got me a new collar, leash & harness that match. I’ll be stylin’ for my journey tomorrow morning. I’ve been getting plenty of attention and I think I understand everything in my future. I’m just curious if my previous humans ever think about Piper and I and if we’re okay. Mommy said they are a real piece of work and not to waste my time on people like that. She’s probably right because there’s nothing scary about my new life and I certainly know I’m loved. I’ll miss my sister Piper but Mommy says she’s such a cutie it won’t take long to find her perfect forever family. Wish me luck in my new home and I’ll try to send an update if I get time.
