I’m headed to Chicago to meet my new family. I’ll miss all my friends at Muttley Farms and I’ll never forget how they made room for me and my siblings. At times we were a handful and I was the instigator so not sure how much they’ll miss me. I’m excited to meet the people that have promised to always love and take care of me. Certainly a very Merry Christmas for me.
Most of you know this has been a rough year for us since our Mom passed away and we ended up in a shelter. We are so grateful that someone cared enough to contact Muttley Farms. No other rescues would take us but they made room for us to save our lives. The biggest surprise of all is that Mommy found us the perfect home. We have our own Dad & Mom now and they could care less about our age. We live in a beautiful home and there's no shortage of love and attention. Our new family is special in so many ways and their love and commitment to us is overwhelming. They’ve promised to always love and care for us and if anything changes we will go back to Muttley Farms. There will be no more shelters in our future. So you see we have so much to be thankful for. Thank you everyone for all the kind words and thoughts. We wouldn’t have made it without you.
I’m also on my way to New York with Shelly. We think it’s kind of funny because Teagan thought she was going to be discovered and be on Broadway and here we are going to New York. The weather is different there I’m told so this should be exciting. Wish us luck on our next journey in life. Good bye Texas hello New York.
I’m on my way to New York. Can you believe it? Muttley Farms tried so hard to find the right family in Texas but it wasn’t meant to be. Now I’ve got to loose my Texas drawl and learn the New York accent. I’m going to miss my Muttley Farms family but I’m super excited to meet my new one. So long Texas. It’s been fun.
Some wonderful people adopted us and our life couldn’t be better living here in Chicago. It’s like they hang on our every sound. There are toys and treats and plenty of love to go around. The weather is different here so our new Mom took us out and bought us new coats. Our Muttley Farms family worried about us until they knew we were safely settled with our new family. They couldn’t be happier for us now. Please remember to share our story so that others will adopt a rescue instead of buying a pet. There are so many like us that don’t have the opportunity that we did but if everyone will spread the word we CAN make a difference.
I want everyone to know I've been adopted. I have my own family now and the prettiest Rottweiler sister you've ever seen. Turns out I DO like other dogs but was just misunderstood. I'm very happy and loved so my future is bright. Thank you everyone for sharing my story and asking about me. I feel all warm and fuzzy knowing so many people care.
Surprise! I'm the chosen one. Did you guess it was me? I'm goin' on a road trip with my new forever family. Can you believe I was at Muttley. Farms for over a year? The time sure went by fast and I'm going to miss everyone. My new family has promised to keep a supply of sticks on hand and I plan on teaching Chase how it's done. Daddy & Mommy said my adoption is bitter sweet. They both love me very much and think I'm special. They said I've proven to be very intelligent and easy going. They also said they'll miss my energy but couldn't deny me such a wonderful home. I will be an inside baby now with my big brother Chase and sister Dakota to show me the ropes. I'm a military pup now and I'll do whatever it takes to help my parents keep our country safe. This includes being especially good if my Mom is deployed again but I sure hope she isn't. I'll be sure to stay in touch and please don't forget about Angel, Kinzie & Dempsey. They've been waiting a long time for their forever home but when the right one comes along everyone will know it. So, on that note, goodbye Texas, hello Kansas.
Today is the start to my new life. I made it to Chicago safe and sound and this is my new family. I even have a fur sister so could it get any better? My new Mom called my Muttley Farms Mommy and they had a nice chat. My new family is very impressed with how well behaved I am and thanked Muttley Farms for their part in it. My new Mom works from home so I get plenty of attention. I'm the one on the right wearing pink because Mommy says it makes my eyes pop. My trip was uneventful and I enjoyed the ride. I met a lot of people and everyone has been so nice. Please remember I left behind some great friends at Muttley Farms and it sure would make me feel better if they could get a home like I did. So if you want to make me happy go and visit them to see if your new baby is there. It's hard to think that if Mommy hadn't discovered me I wouldn't be alive today. When you adopt from Muttley Farms it's like adopting from a shelter except they know more about us. Plus when one of us gets adopted Mommy goes back to the shelter to save another.
No more sorry Charlie for me. No, sir. I've been adopted. Some of my siblings are asking me my secret. You see I've only been at Muttley Farms for 12 days and I've been adopted by this nice lady. She came to visit and we had a nice chat. I've grown very close to Mommy but she explained this new lady, that I now call Mom can offer me things she feels I deserve. I'll have a fur sister, a doggie door and everything. She also comes home for lunch each day to check on us and we all like to play fetch. I got to bring a bag full of my favorite toys so I think this will work out great. Mommy told me she and Daddy were thinking of keeping me but they felt it was selfish. They want only the best for all of us and when a great home like this comes along they just couldn't deny me this opportunity. I sure hope you'll visit Muttley Farms because Dempsey, Roadie, Angel and Kinzie really want a home of their own too. And they've been there a really long time. So since you don't have to share my story anymore maybe you can spread the word about them. Will you help?
That's right I have a new name plus my own family. My new human sisters name is Izzie and she is the sweetest person I've ever met. As soon as we met I was placed in her lap and that's where I stayed. She just kept petting me and rubbing my ears. It felt like heaven to have someone be so kind and gentle to me. We've made a promise to each another and that's to always take care of one another. I already love her more than words can express and I think she feels the same way. Talk about going from rags to riches.......
