Excuse me. Can I have your attention please? I am now the proud daughter of these nice people. I'm calling them Dad & Mom so you can to. I've also got 2 beautiful fur sisters. My new parents saw my post and contacted Mommy from Muttley Farms. They came and visited me and I was very aloof. I've had so many disappointments I didn't want to get my hopes up. When they drove away I just sat and watched them. Mommy took me to them so she could do a home visit and the rest is history. I'm sure Faith is waiting at the gate wondering where I've gone and probably Roadie too. I told them their time will come just like mine did so they need to be patient. I remember Mommy telling me the same thing and it was certainly good advice.
If you think you've got a good life you should see mine. My Mom and brother and sister mean the world to me. I go on daily walks and car rides every chance I get. You can also see I like water puddles too. My Mom says she likes taking me places because I'm so friendly and love everyone. I have one fur sibling and it's a cat. Who would have thought right? Anyway not much else to say except I'm very happy and definitely loved. You should consider adopting a baby of your own. There's plenty left at Muttley Farms!
I'm sure most of you don't remember me, but I have a story worth telling. It all started with me sitting in a shelter waiting to be euthanized. Daddy and Mommy from Muttley Farms saw me when they stopped by to save a few others. Mommy said she saw something in my eyes and just knew I needed help.
I lived at Muttley Farms for over a year before my forever family was found, and I had a great time. You can see by one of the photos, I was very thin and that picture was taken the day I arrived. I was taken to the vet and had everything taken care of and the healing process began. I grew stronger and more confident every day because of love and good care. We had an incident where my sister Nala got her tooth caught in my collar, but it wasn't her fault. We were just playing. Mommy heard the commotion and flew outside and she had a hard time getting us untangled. It cut off my air supply and Mommy watched my eyes roll back in my head. Since she's a Respiratory Therapist she knew what to do and I'm hear today because of it. Ever since we were very close. Some really special people saw my Facebook post and asked if they could adopt me especially since they live in another state. Mommy checked references and the decision was made. Daddy and Mommy drove me half way to Kansas to meet my new family and that's truly the best thing that's ever happened. You see, both my parents serve in the military and both were deployed several times. While they were away protecting our country, they made sure my fur sister and I had the best of care. I never realized how many animals lose their families because they don't have anyone to look after them. That's something to think about, isn't it? I know I'm blessed and I'm proud to have been chosen as their military son. Both my parents are home and safe and I was so excited when they returned. I couldn't have asked for a better home and it's all because so many people share these posts. I hope you'll continue to share so that more of my brothers and sisters from Muttley Farms can have what I have. Nothing would make me happier! I just had to give you an update. I live in Massachusetts with the nicest Dad and Mom. I get so much love and attention that now it's hard to remember what my life was like back in Texas. I went from death row at the shelter, to Muttley Farms and just a short time later I was adopted by two wonderful people. You can see by my photos I'm a little on the spoiled side. Since I've been here, Mom enrolled me in classes to become a therapy dog. So now I'm a certified therapy dog. Pretty cool, huh? Not to brag, but I nailed it. Mom was so proud of me and that makes me even happier. I've heard some of my brothers and sisters from Muttley Farms have been adopted too, so I just hope they have it as good as I do.
Since I'm originally from Texas and this is my first winter back east it's quite a temperature change. I live all the way in Maine now. My new family is great and they all love me. My great Granmie made this sweater for me and isn't it beautiful? My silly aunt thought she'd try it on but I think it looks totally better on me. I wonder what she would think if I put on some of her clothes? I heard Victoria Secret has some nice things but I haven't a clue what's there. Think anything would look good on me? Last year didn't start off really well for me and it took several people to get me to Muttley Farms. Once I arrived I knew I was safe. I still remember Mommy crying when she put me on the transport but I'll never forget what she whispered. She said she loved me and so would my new Mom. She certainly was telling the truth because I'm one pampered pooch.
I'm another success story from Muttley Farms and I now live in Connecticut. My old name was Rosie, but my new name is Josie and I just wish you could meet my new Mom. She's a nurse so she's real smart. I'm trying my best to make her happy and I guess I'm succeeding because she smiles at me all the time. She's never harsh with me and I've figured out "the look" if you know what I mean. I've made all sorts of friends and I know she will never dump me in a shelter because she didn't want to pay the boarding fees. No sir! That's what my previous humans did. My new Mom is a class act and we are both taking care of each other. That's what families do right? I sure hope you'll check out Muttley Farms if you're looking for a new family member. There's plenty to choose from and they all have stories just like mine.
Notice anything different? Remember how I asked for a new pretty pink collar for Christmas? Well these nice people brought me one and gifts for my brothers and sisters also. While they were visiting I turned on the charm. When they left all they could do was talk about me so you know what? They came back and adopted me. So I got even more than I asked for. I was totally happy with my new collar but this is over the moon. I am one Blessed girl this year. Merry Christmas everyone and thank you for sharing Muttley Farms and me.
I'm not sure if you remember me but I'm the guy that got adopted by an awesome family in New Hampshire. As you can tell by the photos I'm super loved and spoiled. I saw my first snow back east this weekend and my new Daddy and Mommy make sure I stay warm. They even got me this cool coat with a hood. Pretty stylin' huh?
